Joey Chau, L.Ac.
Joey Chau received her Master of Science in Acupuncture with honors from New York College of Health Professionals, one of the oldest acupuncture school in the U.S. She also interned at Shanghai Tiansan Chinese Hospital in China, working with the best Chinese acupuncturists in a busy urban clinic. Ms. Chau is currently licensed in New York State and is a NCCAOM Board certified Diplomate in Acupuncture. She specializes mainly in pain management, infertility, stress, headache, and facial rejuvenation. She also studied different types of Bodywork like Tuina to complement her treatments and combines those styles with others, utilizing various methods and researching new effective techniques to offer the best quality treatments to patients. Influenced by her grandmother, a doctor in China, and her mother, a gynecologist and acupuncturist, Ms. Chau, as a third generation female healthcare provider, decided to become an acupuncturist. She saw the profound difference it can make in the lives of patients. With her own personal experience working at her family owned clinic, she saw many patients with illnesses and rare conditions that only Acupuncture and Herbs seemed to help. Joey is passionate about bringing health and wellness to her fellow New Yorkers.
